Matcha is nothing new to us. David Rio established matcha on the US market back in 2003, at a time when it was still virtually unknown outside Japan.

Our matcha currently comes from Kagoshima Prefecture in Japan, a region with an excellent tradition of tea cultivation. In addition, we work with long-standing partners throughout Japan to ensure consistently high quality, transparency and sustainable sourcing, even in challenging times.
