Preparation
Step by step:
1. Mix the matcha powder and sugar in a bowl. Pour hot water over it and stir until everything has dissolved. Briefly soak the ladyfingers in the matcha mixture and spread them evenly in a baking dish or dessert glass.
2. Beat the egg whites with the powdered sugar until stiff. Mix the mascarpone and vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth. Carefully fold the beaten egg whites into the mascarpone mixture until you have a light and fluffy cream.
3. Spread half of the cream over the ladyfingers and smooth it out. Place a second layer of soaked ladyfingers on top and finish with the remaining cream.
4. Chill the matcha tiramisu in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours so that it infuses properly and becomes creamy. Dust with additional matcha powder just before serving.
