Ingredients
For the cookies:
150
g
all-purpose flour
3
Teaspoon
Matcha latte powder
100
g
Unsalted butter, softened
50
g
Powdered sugar (icing sugar)
1
Pinch(es)
Salt
1
Egg yolk
50
g
White chocolate drops
Preparation
Step by step:
1. In a bowl, combine the flour, powdered sugar, matcha, and salt. Add the softened butter and egg yolk, then quickly mix everything into a smooth dough.
2. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
3. Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F), conventional heat (top and bottom heat). Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut out cookies, or form small balls and gently flatten them.
4. Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for about 10–12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden. Allow them to cool completely.
5. Dip the cookies in melted white chocolate or drizzle decoratively over the top, as desired. Let the chocolate set.
