Step by step:

1. Place the chai spice powder into a prewarmed cup or latte glass. Pour the hot water over it and stir thoroughly until the powder has completely dissolved and no lumps remain.
2. Add a very small pinch of cardamom or ginger. Both will give the chai a subtle springlike character without overpowering the drink.
3. For a creamier texture, stir in a splash of plant based milk. Depending on your preference, you can enjoy the chai plain or lightly sweetened with honey or syrup.
