Chai Cookies
These delicious chai cookies were baked by Pam Lowe, the mother of Scott, the president of David Rio. They were so tasty that we asked her to share the recipe. A true delight for all who love chai and baked goods.
Ingredients
For the Chai cookies you will need:

Tiger Spice Chai powder

g
Sugar

g
Softened butter

Egg

Tablespoon
Backing powder

Maple syrup

Flour
Preparation
Step by step:
1.
In a bowl, beat the sugar and butter together until the mixture is smooth.

Add the egg, baking powder, maple syrup, flour, and chai powder. Mix everything well until the dough is uniform.
3.
Cover the bowl and chill the dough in the fridge for about 1 hour.
4.
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) with both top and bottom heat.
5.
Remove the dough from the fridge and roll it into 2.5 cm balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes.
7.
Let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
